Object, template, kit, commission

All four answer “how do I get an interactive page” and none of them are the same purchase. The difference is how finished the thing is when it reaches you, and how much of the rest is yours.

01Four things that get confused

A component library, a template kit, a commission and an object all answer the question “how do I get an interactive page”, and they answer it in completely different places. The difference that matters is how finished the thing is when it reaches you, and how much of the remaining work is yours.

07What you are allowed to do with an object

Unlimited personal and commercial projects, for yourself or a client. Modify anything — geometry, materials, colours, labels, motion, copy, layout. Publish the result on as many sites as you like, including sites that sell things. No attribution is owed, and you may remove every reference to its origin.

The single restriction is that the file itself may not be sold on as an asset, template, component or kit. Build whatever you want with it; just do not resell the object as the product. The full text is published at terms.txt, including the 30-day refund and the note that corrections to an object reach existing owners at no cost.

How the 25-copy cap is enforced — and by whom — is on the editions page. What the file technically is, and how to verify it, is on the single-file page.

FAQQuestions

Can I use an object for a client project?
Yes. Unlimited personal and commercial projects, for yourself or for clients, with no attribution owed and no limit on how many sites you publish the result on.
Can I resell it?
No. The one restriction is that the file itself may not be resold, redistributed or given away as a template, asset, component or kit, modified or not. What you sell must be your own work built with it.
Is it exclusive to me?
No — it is limited rather than exclusive. At most 25 people ever buy a given object, and after the twenty-fifth sale it is retired permanently and never sold again.
What if it does not work for me?
The published terms carry a 30-day refund with no explanation required, and you keep the file. Corrections and improvements to an object reach existing owners at no further cost.
